Alumni Services

The establishment of the Alumni Unit in the Business Administration Program at the College of Sciences and Human Studies in Slayil came to be the link and interaction between the department and the graduates, as this interaction achieves many goals and tasks, the most important of which are:

Objectives of the Alumni Unit

  • Providing databases, statistics and analysis of the necessary questionnaires for graduates and employers in order to achieve the development of the educational process.

  • Work to qualify graduates and those expected to graduate with the necessary skills in the field of business administration to compete in the labour market.

  • Benefiting from the opinions of graduates and employers in developing study plans, and developing academic programs that meet the requirements of the labour market and the needs of society.

  • Qualifying graduates and those expected to graduate to compete in the labour market through many activities and events to provide them with the skills of searching for employment opportunities, vocational training, qualifying training for employment, and benefiting from the entities supporting entrepreneurship projects.

  • Organizing graduation projects and linking them to the labour market.

 

Tasks of the Alumni Unit

  • Building a database of graduates.

  • Preparing training and qualification programs based on the desires of graduates and benefiting from distinguished graduates in their field of work.

  • Effective communication with graduates and employers in order to achieve the development of the educational process.

  • Encouraging graduates to participate in electronic work platforms.

  • Work to help graduates find employment opportunities and develop their professional skills.

  • Communicate to establish partnerships with external parties and provide employment data from official sources.

  • Implementing professional skills development programs in the department in order to develop the professional skills of graduates and those expected to graduate.

  • Work to urge and encourage graduates and those expected to graduate to participate in local and international professional competitions.

  • Continuous follow-up to organize graduation projects at the department level.

  • Preparing reports and files for graduation projects required for quality.

  • Follow up and organize activities, events and competitions related to graduation projects

  • A course entitled (Secrets of a successful personal interview)

  • Course on: Introducing the Taqat Portal

  • Course on: Introducing SPL Platform (Career Education and Guidance Portal)

  • Course on: Professional Classification

  • A training course entitled: Introduction to the IELTS test

  • A training course entitled: The most important easy ways to obtain a TOEFL
