On Tuesday, August 10, 1445, the Academic Guidance and Counseling Unit held a training course entitled Tests between Anxiety and Success, presented by the Academic Guidance Unit Supervisor, Ms. Rabab Jamal Abdel Hamid.
Based on the fact that most students suffer from anxiety and fear before exams. In order to manage anxiety, students often need self-help and therapeutic strategies to manage stress levels before and during the test. Students are assisted with study techniques and test-taking skills to ensure they have the preparation and abilities they need to succeed on the tests.
The items covered in the session were:
- Definition of anxiety (its causes, sources, symptoms).
- How to deal with test anxiety.
- General instructions before and during the exam
At the end of the course, the anxiety scale was applied to determine the level of anxiety among the students.
