The Reading Club at the College of Sciences and Humanities in Al-Sulayle organized an event entitled “Eradication of Functional Literacy in the Computer Side,” under the sponsorship of Fitness Stars, Women’s Branch. That is Tuesday, 7/22/1445, at 10 am. The event was attended by a number of female students, faculty members and administrators.
The event touched on several topics, the most important of which are:
1. The importance of computer literacy in the workplace.
2. The difference between an illiterate person and a functional illiterate person.
3. Suggestions for computer literacy.
4. A paragraph to respond to questions.
At the conclusion of the event, the club supervisor thanked and appreciated the club members for their efforts in organizing the event, which contributed to raising awareness about functional computer illiteracy.
