By the grace of God, the Student Action Unit, represented by the Student Council for the year 1445 AH at the College of Science and Humanities in Al-Sulayl, held its first meeting in the presence and presentation of the Student Council Coordinator, Mr. Faten Takroni, and in the presence of the Council President, the Deputy, the Secretary, and the former female members, under the title “The Introductory Meeting of the Student Council for the Year 1445 AH.” On Monday, corresponding to 2/25/1445 AH, at 10 am.
It covered the definition of the council, its goals, tasks, characteristics of the council member, values, mechanisms, structure, and reference of the student councils (according to the student councils at the university). This is in an effort to form the new Student Advisory Council at the college, which in turn aims to enhance student participation and develop the sense of belonging to the college, the university, and the nation, develop leadership skills, dialogue, and the spirit of teamwork among female students, strengthen the partnership between the student body and the college’s administrative and academic body, and achieve Vision 2030, through... Preparing a generation of female students with high educational and professional competence and a sense of responsibility. During the meeting, the conditions for candidacy for student council membership were also presented for discussion by allowing female students to ask questions and inquiries, and discussing the existence of a mechanism to motivate female students to join the student council. At the end of the meeting, thanks and appreciation were given to the former council students for their efforts in the Student Council for the year 1444 AH by honoring them and encouraging those wishing to join by opening the door for nomination applications directly to them.
