Scientific research at the College of Sciences and Human Studies in Sulayil is a primary goal that we seek to achieve due to its importance in pioneering knowledge, developing practical applications and its repercussions on social, economic and scientific development, and the college is keen to provide a distinguished environment to activate scientific research and provide all support to researchers, reflecting its role in light of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, which emphasizes encouraging researchers to innovate in scientific research. To achieve these goals, a scientific research unit has been established, which aspires to have a lead in this field.

Promoting scientific research at the College of Sciences and Humanities in Sulayil and contributing to its progress and making it in the service of society and sustainable development.
Mission
Our mission is to achieve qualitative and quantitative excellence in graduate programs and scientific research. We strive to conduct innovative research that serves society and helps build a knowledge-based economy. This entails developing an infrastructure that stimulates study and research, training highly qualified researchers and research assistants, and establishing an effective partnership with various sectors of society in a way that helps the success of current sustainable development efforts.
Goals
- Develop a general framework for a strategic plan for scientific research in the college, based on the priorities of scientific research, and in line with the vision and mission of both the college and the university.
- Supporting the elements of community benefit from scientific research, and developing mechanisms and ways to ensure this, and by acting as a link between both the college and community institutions.
- Holding seminars, training courses and workshops aimed at developing scientific research outputs.
- Activating the direction of expanded research projects, by forming research teams and encouraging joint research between researchers from one discipline, or from several different departments.
- Develop a strategy to encourage new faculty members through development programs related to scientific research activities, and involve them in working research teams.
- Maintain the exchange of information in the field of research between our college and relevant research institutions.
- Preparing and documenting statistics and reports periodically in the field of scientific research in the college.
Tasks
· Reviewing the work of scientific research units in other colleges and making recommendations.
· Publishing the announcements of the Deanship of Scientific Research and urging colleagues to attend the courses to be carried out by the university.
· Compilation of all scientific research statistics in the college.
· Encouraging researchers from the faculty staff to attend conferences and seminars and participate in them with their research.
