One of the most important problems facing science in our contemporary world is the permanent change, and the development of knowledge and the consequent skills, and this casts a shadow on the field of training, and then training is a dynamic tool to achieve the required level of knowledge, skills, attitudes and values necessary for human resources to accomplish their tasks with high efficiency, and then employers become more able to keep pace with development, update all academic, administrative, and technical levels, and achieve sustainable human development, hence the need to focus To build knowledge, skills, values, and efforts to enhance the competitiveness of human resources.
Based on the mission and vision of the college and to achieve part of its objectives, the Training and Development Unit at the college developed its work plan for the academic year 1444 AH.
Vision
Achieving the continuous development of human resources within the College of Sciences and Humanities in Sulayil, making them competitive locally and internationally.
Mission
The Training and Development Unit seeks to develop a set of courses and supervise their implementation, and to develop a mechanism to measure their impact on trainees, and give feedback to them so that the college can compete.
.The Training and Development Unit aims to do the following:
- Developing the skills and capabilities of all categories of human resources in the college, represented by faculty members in the college, the administrative apparatus and male and female students.
- Develop effective training programs based on a careful study of the training needs necessary to achieve the strategic objectives of the college and the university.
Plan Themes
- The first axis: achieving the strategic objectives of the university and the college by supporting the quality of performance in the college.
- The second axis: is support and assistance to students in achieving their goal of obtaining an honourable skill record.
- The third axis: Supporting faculty members through a set of useful courses in areas that touch with daily life, even if the specializations of some of them differ.
Tasks of the Training and Development Unit
Supporting students in forming the skill record by holding a series of influential training courses for them.
