The Alumni Unit at the College of Sciences and Humanities in Slayil was established as part of the general structure of the Alumni Unit at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University, to help students and graduates of the College of Sciences and Humanities in Slayil and provide them with everything necessary to participate in building the nation, by harmonizing the college's outputs with the requirements of the labor market, establishing partnerships with entities that provide training for graduates, and enhancing training and qualification opportunities while working to develop mechanisms to develop the competitiveness of graduates.

The Alumni Unit at the College of Sciences and Humanities in Slayil includes a group of qualified faculty members to lead graduates towards bright future prospects through an organizational structure that includes: - Supervisor of the Alumni Unit. Graduation Projects Coordinator, Vocational Skills Development Coordinator, Job Qualification Coordinator, Career Counselor.

The vision of the Alumni Unit at the College of Sciences and Humanities in Slayil is based on innovation and leadership, by working to support and provide students with knowledge, skills and expertise, develop their talents, adopt their innovations and qualify them in line with the requirements and needs of the labor market in the Kingdom. The Alumni Unit at the College of Sciences and Humanities in Slayil also aims to develop the skills and competencies of students and graduates and help them find employment and vocational training opportunities, while establishing partnerships with the labor market and helping to provide support for distinguished projects submitted by graduates, and holding exhibitions to market them. The mission of the Alumni Unit comes to enhance the competitiveness of graduates in the labor market through vocational training and job qualification and to provide an attractive interactive environment for graduates and training and employment bodies.

 The Alumni Unit at the college works to provide education that complies with international standards, and suitable training and employment opportunities for college graduates, by providing an academic and research environment with distinguished human resources, and through communication and coordination with public and private employers, and qualifying graduates through vocational training, job qualification and career guidance, and coordination for self-employment while supporting distinguished graduation ideas and projects to reach graduates of the College of Sciences and Human Studies in Sulayil to achieve the desired goals.

A distinguished graduate qualified to compete in the labor market locally and globally.

Mission

Enhancing the competitiveness of graduates in the labor market through vocational training and job qualification, effective attendance at all job fairs and available electronic platforms, providing an attractive interactive environment for graduates and training and employment bodies, and establishing partnerships with the labor market.

Goals

·  Developing the personal abilities and skills of students and graduates and developing their personal qualities necessary to compete in the labor market.

·  Assist graduates in finding training and employment opportunities, and establish partnerships with the labor market.

·  Provide an attractive interactive environment to communicate with graduates and employers.

·  Providing data, statistics and analysis of the necessary questionnaires for graduates and employers.

·  Organizing graduation projects and assisting in providing support for distinguished projects and holding exhibitions to market them.

·  Organizing field training and trying to provide appropriate training opportunities.

Tasks

·  Preparing a database for graduates.

·  Holding periodic meetings with graduate students.

·  Conducting workshops and training courses on some general topics of interest to graduate students.

·  Conducting some field visits to some recruitment institutions at the local level.

·  Preparing the graduates' data registration form.

·  Email graduates to invite them to attend the regular meeting.
