The Student Work Unit at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University, represented by the Student Advisory Council, organized an awareness initiative on the occasion of World Breast Cancer Awareness Day. This initiative aims to raise awareness about breast cancer and the importance of early screening in detecting and preventing the disease.
The event was held on Wednesday 12/4/1446 AH, in the university theater, and started at 9:30 AM. The event included many activities that focused on educating students about how to prevent breast cancer through self-examination and early screening, in addition to presenting important scientific information about the disease and the latest methods used in detection and treatment.
This initiative comes within the university's efforts to support public health, and encourage students to take care of their health and conduct the necessary periodic examinations, which contributes to preventing the disease and achieving the highest levels of health awareness among the university community.
