The Student Work Unit, in cooperation with the Skills Registry, organized a training course entitled “Skills Registry” on Monday 2/5/1446 AH at 8:30 PM via Zoom.
The course aimed to introduce students to the concept of the skills registry and its importance in documenting academic and non-academic achievements, which contributes to enhancing their CVs and increasing their opportunities in the labor market. The course also addressed how to benefit from the skills registry to develop personal and professional skills, with a focus on documentation mechanisms in a correct and effective manner.
The course was presented by student Maram Fahid Al-Wadani in an interesting and simplified manner, as it included visual presentations and a practical explanation of filling out the skills registry in a professional manner. A section was also allocated to answering the attendees’ inquiries and providing advice on the skills that should be focused on to meet the requirements of the labor market.
At the end of the course, the participants expressed their admiration for the content and their interaction with the presented material, and recommended repeating these activities that enhance students’ awareness of the importance of career planning and self-development.
