The Student Work Unit, in cooperation with the Basmat Athar Volunteer Team, organized a training course entitled “The National Platform for Volunteer Work” on Tuesday 4/26/1446 AH at 8:30 PM via Zoom.
The course aimed to introduce participants to the National Platform for Volunteer Work affiliated with the National Center for the Development of the Non-Profit Sector, and to highlight its role in promoting the culture of volunteer work and organizing volunteer efforts. The course also included a detailed explanation of the mechanism for registering on the platform, searching for appropriate volunteer opportunities, and how to officially document volunteer achievements.
The course was presented by student Maram Fahid Al-Wadani in a distinctive manner, as she used visual and interactive educational tools that helped clarify information and involve attendees in the practical application of the steps. In addition, part of the course was allocated to answering participants’ inquiries and providing practical guidance for activating volunteering in the university environment and society.
The course concluded with the attendees thanking student Maram and those in charge of organizing it, while praising the useful content and enriching interaction. He recommended to everyone the need to continue organizing such courses that contribute to spreading the culture of volunteering and enhancing personal and professional skills.
