The Student Work Unit, in cooperation with the “Bid’a Arts Club”, is pleased to organize a training course entitled “The Art of Arabic Calligraphy” as part of the skills register courses. The course aims to enhance students’ skills in Arabic calligraphy and provide the necessary basics to develop their capabilities in this ancient artistic field.
The course was held on Thursday, 4/28/1446 AH, in the college library at 9:30 AM. The course was presented by a group of distinguished students, namely: Amira Fahid Al-Wadani, Fawz Hassan Al-Dosari, and Al-Jawhara Hadi Al-Dosari, where they shared their experiences and knowledge of the different styles and types of Arabic calligraphy, and provided practical training that contributed to the attendees gaining basic skills in Arabic writing.
The course was characterized by an educational and interactive atmosphere, as attendees had the opportunity to apply what they learned on paper, and gain direct experience in the art of Arabic calligraphy. The event concluded with the distribution of certified certificates of attendance to the participants, which added an appreciative touch to this distinguished artistic and training experience.
