The Reading Club at the College of Sciences and Humanities in Al-Salil organized a forum entitled “The Reading Child” under the auspices of Al-Katib Library, Al-Salil Branch, on Tuesday, 3/4/1445 AH, at 10 am. A number of faculty members, students and children attended the forum, and Ms. Mashael Mubarak Faleh supervised the meeting.
Many important topics were discussed at the forum, the most important of which are:
1. The importance of reading to children.
2. Encouraging children to love reading.
3. Develop reading skills.
4. Enhance children’s critical thinking and analysis skills through reading.
5. Developing creativity through reading.
The club supervisor thanked and appreciated the club members for the great efforts they made in organizing the forum, which benefited attendees about the importance of encouraging and promoting reading among children.
