The Guidance and Counseling Unit at the College of Sciences and Humanities in Al-Sulail organized a training course entitled (Academic Guidance: A Student’s Guide to Excellence), on Wednesday, 9/20/2023, via Zoom application. This course targeted male and female academic advisors at the college.
The lecture was presented by Abdul Raouf Al-Harahsheh and Rabab Abdul Hamid, supervisors of the Guidance and Guidance Unit at the college. The lecture was attended by a number of faculty members, who had clear interactive participation. The lecture topics were an introduction to academic advising, its types, the goals of academic advising, and the skills and tasks of the academic advisor. The unit's plan for this year and the various guidance programs it contains were also reviewed. This course comes in light of achieving many goals that serve the student through training and educating the academic advisor.
