The first meeting of the Advisory Board of the College of Sciences and Humanities in Sulayil:
Praise be to God and his help, the Advisory Board of the College of Sciences and Human Studies in Sulayil Governorate held its first meeting on Monday 18/3/1440 AH.
The Dean of the College of Sciences and Humanities began the meeting, welcoming the members of the Council and thanking them for their endeavor to contribute to the development of the college, and then introduced the college in terms of its inception, units, departments, targets, and the scientific degree granted by each department, and a census of faculty members according to their scientific ranks, students, and graduates in each department..
Stressing the importance of dialogue that contributes to the success of academic programs in the college, raising the level of benefit of society and supporting the labor market with a constellation of qualified graduates, explaining that the current development in university programs requires the development of qualitative specializations, and the mother of the modern view of education focuses on the student as the focus of the educational process, as a positive system that focuses on learning and thinking skills, and that the college and the relevant authorities seek to improve the outputs of teaching and learning by putting forward ideas, and increasing the positive growth of scientific departments at the level of boys and girls, calling on its members to participate in the college in planning for the success of the targeted programs, and to avoid some difficulties.
The meeting was accompanied by a visual presentation in which the members were briefed on the design of the new building for female students, which was inaugurated at the beginning of the academic year 1439/1440 AH and its teaching halls, facilities, equipment and laboratories..
Then Dr. Faleh bin Mufleh Al-Amor, Vice Dean for Educational and Academic Affairs, spoke about the procedures regulating the work of the Council, and put forward the nomination and selection of the Chairman of the Council and Vice President, through election and voting, and accordingly the Council was formed according to the following:
