The Student Activities Unit at the College of Science and Humanities in Al-Sulayyil at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University organized an event entitled the Habhab Festival on Wednesday and Thursday, 11-12 Rabi` al-Awwal 1446 AH, at 10:00 am in the college yard. The event was supervised and organized by the Student Activities Team, and aims to enhance the social and recreational spirit among female students, while creating an atmosphere of fun and interaction.
The event opened with information about the health and nutritional benefits of Habhab (watermelon), and different models of Habhab were distributed to the attendees to taste. The event also included various recreational activities such as competitions related to summer fruits, where incentive prizes were distributed to the winners.
The Habhab Festival event contributed to enhancing the social spirit among female students and encouraging them to participate in recreational activities that add a touch of fun to their academic lives, and also increased awareness of the importance of eating fresh summer fruits.
There were also designated corners for photography and enjoying innovative activities, including preparing fresh drinks and juices from Habhab, which added a lively and creative atmosphere to the party.
The event concluded with a thank you to the Student Activities Team for their efforts in organizing this event, which contributed to strengthening the bond between the students and providing an atmosphere of entertainment and fun in an encouraging university environment.
