The College of Sciences and Humanities in Al-Sulayyil hosted a celebration in honor of the 93rd Saudi National Day with the theme "We Dream and Achieve". The event was attended by His Excellency Mr. Thamer bin Abdullah Al Shatwi, the Governor of Al Sulayyil Governorate, along with representatives from various government departments and the local community. Dr. Faisal bin Shabib Al-Subaie, the Dean of the College, expressed his pleasure in celebrating National Day and underscored the importance of education as a top priority for the development of the Kingdom. The celebration highlighted the Kingdom's accomplishments in various fields, reflecting the spirit of ambition and progress embodied in the Kingdom's Vision 2030 plan.
The festivities kicked off with a procession of horses led by college students in the college courtyard. The procession included national slogans and phrases such as "We dream and we achieve," emphasizing the pride and glory of the homeland. Attendees also enjoyed a photo exhibition that showcased the achievements of all the kings since the founding King Abdulaziz Al Saud. The ceremony featured a detailed explanation by the college students about the goals of Vision 2030 and the progress made under the leadership of His Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the Crown Prince.
The celebration also included a popular heritage section featuring Arabic clothing, food, and coffee. The ceremony concluded with the signing of a partnership memorandum between the College of Sciences and Humanities in Al-Sulayyil and service departments in the governorate, including Al-Salil General Hospital, the Social Development Association, and the Water Services Office. The memorandum aims to provide training programs for employees of these departments to improve work quality, integrate efforts, and exchange experiences.
