On Monday, November 21, 2022, The College of Science and Humanities in Assulayyil and the Ikram al-Nima Association in Sulayyil Governorate signed a cooperation agreement that aims to help preserve food since it is a grace from Allah and reduce food loss and waste in the governorate, as well as educating the community on the importance of preserving grace. The goals of the two parties in fulfilling their social obligations to benefit the community and the foundation of their collaboration led to the creation of this agreement.
Dr. Faisal bin Shabib Al-Subaie, the Dean of the College, explained that the agreement, which was signed with the Ikram Al-Neama Association in Al-Sulayyil Governorate, comes in accordance with the adoption of the "National Program for Reducing Food Loss and Waste" initiative, in addition to spreading awareness, preserving blessings, and lowering the rates of loss and waste. He hoped that these actions would help to achieve this initiation.
