Since its inception, it has made and continues to make a significant mark on the students that pass out from here.
The department has been an efficacious entity in efforts to actualize a holistic development for the students. The department has a distinguished record in both teaching and research. At present, the department has nine well qualified and experienced faculty members. Faculty members have excellent academic credentials and are highly regarded. Several faculty members involve in writing research papers and books on a regular basis. They also serve on the editorial boards of national and international journals.
The department aims at honing the personality of the students by imparting teaching in professional way. The teachers help deepen students’ insights into their own experience and to develop their ability to express their ideas orally and in writing. Involving our students in the four basic processes of reading, discussing, critical thinking, and writing, we stimulate the students’ creative energies and their potential to perform.
Looking ahead, we expect that the department will maintain a good track record of success in the field of teaching and research. We will work together to prepare young students for tomorrow’s world through a broad and stimulating curriculum, and will provide them with exciting and engaging learning experiences.
